About Karen Kane

Growing up in Santa Barbara, California, Karen Kane had a love affair with clothes. As a young girl, she knew her future held a career in fashion design. After graduating high school and receiving a degree in fashion design, she was on her way.
In the late 1970’s, Karen met her future husband and business partner, Lonnie. In 1979 they married and started Karen Kane, Inc. in their garage. As the years paseed they had 2 sons, Michael & Robert, and watched their company grow. Over 25 years later, Karen Kane Inc. has expanded to a 150,000 square foot facility in Los Angeles that employs over 200 people and distributes clothes around the world.

As a wife, mother and professional I need to know my clothes are polished enough for work and relaxed enough for weekends, are easy to maintain, can travel with ease, and have an integrity to last a long time, not just a season or two.”
